It features a sharp piercing spike for easy insertion into IV containers and a built-in air vent with a hydrophobic bacterial filter.

The transparent cylindrical collapsible drip chamber allows clear visualization of the fluid flow rate, while the integrated 15-micron disc-type fluid filter helps remove particulate matter from the IV fluid. A latex-free Y-type injection port is provided for additional medication administration.
