MOUNJARO 2.5MG INJECTION
Mounjaro 2.5mg Solution for Injection 0.5 ml is an injectable prescription medicine used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is also prescribed to support chronic weight management in adults who have obesity, or those who are overweight with weight-related medical conditions.
You will typically inject this medicine once a week, on the same day each week, at any time of day. It can be taken with or without food, making it easy to incorporate into your routine. To get the best results, you should use this medicine alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
While taking Mounjaro 2.5mg Solution for Injection 0.5 ml, you may experience mild stomach-related side effects like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhoea as your body adjusts to the medication. If you experience severe, persistent stomach pain that radiates to your back, or signs of a serious allergic reaction, contact your doctor immediately.
Do not take this medicine if you or anyone in your family has ever had medullary thyroid cancer, or if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2. Before starting, talk to your doctor if you have a history of pancreatitis, severe stomach disorders, or kidney disease.
This medicine delays stomach emptying, which can affect how your body absorbs other oral medications, so discuss all your current treatments with your pharmacist. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding, or are an elderly patient, consult your healthcare provider before using this medicine.
