BAXTER PRISMAX (CRRT MACHINE) is an advanced continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) system designed for intensive care and critical care environments. The PrisMax system with automatic operation mode is designed to assist healthcare professionals in managing CRRT treatments through automated control of therapy parameters. It supports multiple renal replacement therapies according to the selected treatment configuration and compatible disposable set, including continuous venovenous hemofiltration (CVVH), continuous venovenous hemodialysis (CVVHD), continuous venovenous hemodiafiltration (CVVHDF), and slow continuous ultrafiltration (SCUF).

The system provides controlled delivery and monitoring of blood flow, dialysate, replacement fluid, anticoagulation, and net patient fluid removal. Integrated weighing and fluid-management functions help maintain accurate fluid balance throughout treatment. The system also incorporates monitoring and alarm functions for treatment conditions such as blood and fluid pressures, air detection, blood leakage, and fluid-balance deviations.

Similar to the Prismaflex CRRT platform, PrisMax is designed around a modular disposable therapy set and compatible CRRT solutions. The disposable circuit and filter are selected according to the prescribed therapy and patient requirements. The system is intended to support continuous therapy while allowing healthcare professionals to monitor and adjust treatment parameters as clinically required.
